Regular Share Savings

This savings account is opened as part of your membership with BME. A $5.00 minimum balance must be maintained in this account as long as it is open.

Money Market

This savings account is typically paid a higher yield than the regular share savings account. A minimum deposit of $2,500.00 is required to open this account. Money Markets offer the flexibility of unlimited in-person transactions, as well as the ability to write up to three checks per month. The minimum withdrawal/transfer amount is $500.00

Share Certificates

With terms as short as 6 months and as long as 60 months, share certificates provide the best return on investment of all of our deposit products. A minimum deposit of $500.00 is required to open a share certificate.

BME also offers two unique share certificates.

• The Accelerated 25 month certificate, requires a $5,000.00 minimum opening balance, and allows for a one time rate bump-up option.
• The gift certificate only requires a minimum opening balance of $50.00 and provides you the opportunity to contribute monthly for a 12 month term.

Holiday Club

A special savings account designated for your holiday travels or gift-buying. At the beginning of November, BME will automatically transfer the balance in this account into your checking.

Friendship Club

A savings account for all our young members. At BME you are never too young to start saving for the future!
